Sumner Bay, New Zealand
Fish and Chips
Dined
in August 2014
Sometimes there is nothing better than simple foods,
especially when you’re near the beach. Some coworkers and I jumped on the bus
in Christchurch, and came down to Sumner Bay to see the caverns along
the beach, and while there, some of our party recommended a small eatery called
the Red Snapper. Normally for this blog I don’t usually write up restaurants
like this, but these Fish and Chips were amazing.

Main review:
Red snapper is a basic chain fish and chip restaurant, and
when you walk in it looks no different than a typical fast chain restaurant,
except there food is very good. It is low priced, and they have wide selection
for a basic chain style store covering burgers and sandwiches as well. When we
sat down to eat, the French fries were just like regular French fries, but the
fish was wonderful and a great experience, so I’m glad my coworkers recommended
it. Since the restaurant was near the beach, when we sat down to eat, we were
surrounded by pigeons and seagulls, skulking and watching us like hawks for us
to drop a spec of food on the ground. One person in our group fed them, and
that was a bad idea, because it just brought more of them over, so beware of
that. Check it out folks.
