My wife and I have lived in Saint Petersburg, Florida since 2015, so nearly 40% (185 of the 500 + ) restaurant articles published on Wine Dine And Play are from this area, or from around the state of Florida. Known as the 'Sunshine City,’ St. Petersburg is the second largest city in the Tampa Bay Area. It averages 361 days of sunshine each year, along with the growth of the downtown area that includes a very vibrant art scene with museums and restaurants. Also not forgetting some of the top rated beaches in the United States makes this a tourism mecca. For the food scene, USA Today said that St. Petersburg is one of the five underrated food cities on the East Coast. Let me tell you folks, the restaurants here are outstanding. Everything you expect from an establishment in New York, Paris, London, Hong Kong, Dubai, or San Fransisco, you will find here, and you can wear flip flops!! 

The Tampa Bay with the Peninsula is made up of several Central Florida cities.
