My flight landed for a layover at Boston Logan Airport on Saint Patrick’s Day and I thought how perfect to be in the US City with tons of Irish heritage on this Irish day. The day before arriving I had published a recipe on a vegetable blend titled The Irish Flag Vegetable Medley to celebrate patriotism and history of Ireland. My wife recommended I find a bar and drink a green beer to celebrate. I searched and searched, but surprisingly there were few bars at the terminal, and none had the green beer special. I decided to enjoy a St. Patrick’s Day lunch at Lucky’s Lounge, part of the Lyon’s Group which owns 19+ Restaurants to include the two Lucky’s locations, the first being downtown, and the second here at the airport.
