Paradise Grille Menu, Reviews, Photos, Location and Info - Zomato

Remember the David Lee Roth Song, ‘just like living in paradise?’ Well, you have arrived. On the southernmost end of St. Pete Beach is a small strip of land near Shell Key and Fort De Soto. There is a barrier peninsula less than two miles long, where fishing, dolphin watching, beautiful sunsets, and weddings on the beach are commonplace. First explored by the Spanish in1528 when Pánfilo de Narváez anchoring off the coast, historic Pass-A-Grille is an escape away from the hustle and bustle of the busy St. Pete and Treasure Island beaches to the North. My wife and I visit Pass-A-Grille often to take our dogs to a nice quiet beach and finish off at the market near to where the Paradise Grille restaurant is located. The peninsula also has some other great little restaurants, bars, and dives to eat at as well.

Menu:
    • Omelets
    • Egg Platters
    • Breakfast Sandwiches
    • Other Breakfast (French Toast, Gravy, Biscuits etc)
    • Appetizers
    • Salads

On our first visit to Paradise Grille, we shared the biscuits and country gravy dish served with some fried potatoes, and the breakfast burrito also served with fried potatoes. On this visit, we came for a lunch where my wife had the turkey burger, a little dry to my taste, served with melted white American cheese and your typical fixings. One thing about Paradise Grille is that they are not a fancy fine dining place, but it is at most times good comfort and beach food to enjoy without the need for a full dining experience. Just order, pay,  grab your food, then either sit at their picnic benches, or go.

I had the patty melt sandwich which again was a little dry, but that was made up for with the extra cheese and sautéed onions. The burger patty was made fresh with an 80/20 ratio versus a pre-made patty from a corporate company delivered frozen, so as to why it was dry as it was, I do not know. But as I mentioned earlier, Paradise Grille does not score points for fine restaurant dining, it is a beach place. Would I go back again? This was our second visit, and It won’t be our last. The patty melt went down well with a bottle of beer called Shock Top Belgian White by Anheuser-Busch.

Final notes, review basics, observations, and more pictures:

Most reviews are subjective, depending on the writer; but they should also be responsible, and respectfully written, upholding the truth, and accurately conveying the experience to the best of the writer's knowledge, even if it includes metaphors the restaurant may not like to read about.
