O'Maddy's Menu, Reviews, Photos, Location and Info - Zomato

The city of Gulfport is a hidden gem tucked away between the tourism and beach life of St. Pete Beach, and the hustle of the big city of St. Petersburg. It is a little town straight out of the 1960s with little mom and pop shops, the Gulfport Tuesday Market, an events center called Gulfport Casino Ballroom, and many restaurants and bars. One such bar is O’Maddy’s Bar & Grille near to the popular William's Pier with beautiful views of Boca Ciega Bay, nestled next to Gulfport's Veteran's Park. This was my wife and I’s second visit, with my folks tagging along for a nice lunch and walk around the town.

Menu:
    • Appetizers
    • Salads
    • Sandwiches
    • Pasta
    • Steak and Pork
    • Seafood
    • Side Items
    • Chicken
    • Vegetarian
    • Desserts
On the previous visit, we had the jalapeño macaroni and cheese, Dr. Randy Shuck's Hangover Burger, and the Dr. Pepper baby back ribs. The ribs we wanted to try since there was another restaurant in St Petersburg that has now unfortunately closed that had the best Dr. Pepper ribs we had ever had called Z Grille

On this visit, my wife and I split the Jamal's Firecracker Burger which came with jalapeno pesto, cream cheese and chipotle mayo on a grilled brioche bun. The burger was a little overcooked at my requested medium temperature, but the flavor and juices from the beef melted in my mouth. Though I enjoy hotter and spicier foods, I do have to say that the pesto did have a nice kick.

My parents split the Beccy Burger which was the houses 8oz. flame grilled burger with the regular toppings of lettuce, tomato, and onion. Served on a brioche bun. For sides, we got the parmesan french fries and the penne macaroni and cheese.

Final notes, review basics, observations and more pictures:

Most reviews are subjective, depending on the writer; but they should also be responsible, and respectfully written, upholding the truth, and accurately conveying the experience to the best of the writer's knowledge, even if it includes metaphors the restaurant may not like to read about. My ratings are by the stars I award (from 0 to 5). The rating is calculated on a point accumulation of six separate factors based on individual experience. They include wine and other beverage selections, plate presentation, customer service, restaurant or café ambiance, food quality, and wow factor. To see more details of this rating list, read this article:

Overall from this experience, and the score factors outlined in the ‘about page’ section, based on my individual experience and rating, I give O'Maddy's a 1 out of 5 stars, meaning that they were an average dining experience like most restaurants, The first review score was 2 of 5 stars, so they have declined slightly from my last visit. The third visit improved and was brought back up to 2 stars.
