There is a reason why of the top fifty preferred foods to eat in the world that there are several Thai and Japanese selections that make the cut. At Osaka Sushi Thai they reflect that perfection of a list, as they do time and again from when my wife and I have visited them. This visit was a light Bento box lunch then a sharing of some sushi, so we stayed to the Japanese side of the menu this time. A starter of of some Kirin light beer, a Nakano-ku, Tokyo based brewery.
My wife's Bento box labeled number two came with fried shrimp, a sesame teriyaki chicken and a ginger salad, with some steamed rice, while mine was similar, labeled number four and having shrimp and vegetable tempura, tempura grouper with chili basil sauce, pork Dumplings, Steamed Rice and a Ginger Salad.
The sushi roll, one of over eighty on their menu to choose from, was the same as the one we ordered last time since it was so good. The Fat Bastard number 1 with tuna, salmon, escolar, yellow tail, cucumber, scallion, spicy mayonnaise, crunch topped with tempura escolar, eel sauce, Honda sauce, wasabi mayo sauce, scallion, and fish eggs. This is listed as number 19 on the menu.

Final notes, review basics, and observations:
Most reviews are subjective, depending on the writer; but they should also be responsibly, and respectfully written, upholding the truth, and accurately conveying the experience to the best of the writers knowledge, even if it includes metaphors the restaurant may not like to read about. My ratings are by the stars I award (from 0 to 5). The rating is calculated on a point accumulation of six separate factors based by individual experience. They include: wine and other beverage selections, plate presentation, customer service, restaurant or café ambiance, food quality, and wow factor. To see more details of this rating list, read this article:
Over all from this experience, I give Osaka a 1 out of 5 stars, meaning that they were an average dining experience compared to most restaurants. The first review score was also 1 of 5 stars, so they have remained consistent since my last visit.
